Em 2002 comecei a praticar Yoga, já com a convicção de que para alcançar saúde era preciso trabalhar mais do que apenas só físico. Conheci o Método Pilates em 2005, quando comecei a praticá-lo, encontrando aí uma fonte para saciar a falta que a dança fazia em minha vida e também uma forma inteligente de cuidar do corpo.
Mergulhei intensamente na prática e nos estudos do Método. Certifiquei-me internacionalmente pela escola canadense Stott Pilates e também pela PMA- Pilates Method Alliance dos EUA.
Por exalar paixão no meu trabalho, tornei-me referência no Método no país, promovendo cursos para difundir a real essência do trabalho de Joseph Pilates, que é a busca por coordenar corpo, mente e espírito.

Fui Bailarina clássica e contemporânea por 20 anos, e minha paixão pelo movimento e pela dança me levaram a estudar Educação Física (UFMG) e a me especializar em Fisiologia do Exercício (FMU-SP). Em 2002 comecei a praticar Yoga, já com a convicção de que para alcançar saúde era preciso trabalhar mais do que apenas só físico. Conheci o Método Pilates em 2005, quando comecei a praticá-lo, encontrando aí uma fonte para saciar a falta que a dança fazia em minha vida e também uma forma inteligente de cuidar do corpo.
Mergulhei intensamente na prática e nos estudos do Método. Certifiquei-me internacionalmente pela escola canadense Stott Pilates e também pela PMA- Pilates Method Alliance dos EUA.
Por exalar paixão no meu trabalho, tornei-me referência no Método no país, promovendo cursos para difundir a real essência do trabalho de Joseph Pilates, que é a busca por coordenar corpo, mente e espírito.

Meu desejo constante por aprender mais sobre o corpo, os movimentos e a interação corpo-mente me levaram ao estudo da Fáscia, o fascinante tecido conectivo que forma o maior sistema no nosso corpo que é o Sistema Neuromiofascial. A partir daí outras portas se abriram e abracei intensamente o estudo de Mindfulness, do Yoga e do Chi Gong. Não somos só físico! Portanto não podemos trabalhar só físico!
Sou pioneira no Brasil em trazer esses conhecimentos para o universo do Método Pilates. Com isso, meu trabalho transcende o modelo padrão, abraçando conhecimentos valiosos que enriquecem a abordagem e potencializam resultados que transcendem o físico. Surge assim o Surge assim o Método Ayama, o caminho para desenvolver a Ayamaterapia.
Viajo pelo país e também para o exterior, ensinando essa preciosa abordagem, que se mostra o caminho para ampliar a percepção do próprio corpo, entender a importância da conexão corpo-mente e encontrar o tão desejado bem-estar.
